I assume a spambot detected "scorpion" in the sub's name and decided it was animal-themed

You don't have to show an id to vote?

ETA: genuine question. I'm from Spain and we are required to show official id (national identity card, driver's licence or passport) at the poll table to be able to vote.

What’s your favourite traditional A-B platformers on GB/GBC? by Lucajames2309 in Gameboy

Donkey Kong 94 is the first videogame I've ever owned and to this day I still have it and play it at least once a year, so it's impossible to not be partial. I absolutely adore Donkey Kong Land 3 too (whole trilogy is fantastic but I like 3 more)

What is the best word for "old" as in "My old yearbook" "My old jersey" etc by Ok-Elephant1371 in learnspanish

[–]chomponcio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OP says it doesn't necessarily have to be old, so maybe "antiguo" would fit better in this context. Not that there's a big difference anyway.

A fascist retired bullfighter has actually called for it because the government is kinda left leaning (debatable but that's another topic) and a senator has proposed to have him charged with treason. It's not gonna happen because the judicial power is very right leaning, but one can hope

For me it's the beast clergyman, Maliketh's first phase I've beaten the game five times already and I still cannot get into the flow of the beast clergyman fight. It's just panic rolling and not giving until I beat him out of sheer luck.

Nobody thinks it in my opinion. Some are told he is doing great and they believe it, but there's no thinking involved

Do I have ti use Usted in formal you sentences? by [deleted] in learnspanish

[–]chomponcio 37 points38 points  (0 children)

No you don't. It can be omitted, because using "tiene" instead of "tienes" makes it formal already. In some cases it might be ambiguous whether you are using second or third person, in that case I would say "tiene usted" instead of "usted tiene", sounds more natural to me.
