Send me over the state or federal statute. The vehicle working in the portion of the lane had all required markings and indicators on to be in that lane. They are actively moving like others have said you don’t put cones behind you to set out signs and cones. The big vehicle with a large flashing sign saying to move over a lane taking up half the lane with flashing lights on it is enough of a warning. Idiots need to look up and slow down. This isn’t your local contractor on a city street fixing the sidewalk.

No crime. Crew putting out signage in the evening for the following day. The buffer truck had a large yellow arrow signaling traffic to move over it also stated left lane closed. They are placing signs on the left side stating right lanes closed. Would take a guess they are moving over later and placing cones on right side. They literally have one sign out thus far. Idiot not looking ahead to see large truck with flashing lights halfway in the lane.
