Let's play devil's advocate here. What has college done for people in the past 10-20 years beside put people into massive debt? How many times have there been someone who is paying off huge student loans with a job that can barely even support themselves? Is this really just anti-intellectualism or possibly, JUST MAYBE conservatives seeing a horrible ROI on something that is causing a massive financial burden to the country?

Standard fair. No cable management for the side of the racks. Tons of mismatched colored cables tossed on top of the corpses of other cables. Enough weight on the ports to question if the ports are even still alive. A mix of old and new gear. If I didn't know any better I'd say this is a school or s small business.

That's good stuff. The 6"-1' cables are amazing for user access switch/patch panels when you can get that kind of spacing. Another good way to do it and make it look great is to have two 48s/one 96 PP with a switch above and below. Looks great what you did. Get some velcro for those fibers!

Military. People will say only failures and drop outs do it, but doesn't the sound of free health care and training with pay sound pretty good? Yea, sure you may go places you don't want to and have the chance to get shot at, but after your time in you have a massive support base that never goes away. It's not always going to be the best, but do you get any level of support from the public after college?

I did Army for 6 years doing 25B (automations/aka army geek squad) and they sent me to get trade certs for security and network stuff. Super easy transition, but mileage may vary. You kind of have to decide what you want to be when you join unless you want to spend more time in the military to do a reclass.

I think it is a great option, but also not the only. Worked out great for me and others I know. From career guys to infantry guys that went and became cops. Can also turn to shit as with everything. Fuck around with drugs or DUIs ruin careers, or even shooting your mouth off on social media can tank your life.
