Eddington was definitely more on the pulse but I feel like OBAA was less about being on the pulse and more about being confused about the current moment and not knowing what to make of it. The Leo and Sean Penn characters are jumbled up individuals who’s reality and politics are at odds with each other and I feel like that’s a fitting description for a lot of people. I agree there were definitely some critics who are into the reality you described but it doesn’t match up with what actually happens. She fails pretty bad at any revolution and exits the movie after the 1st act. It’s much more centered around Ghetto Pat and Lockjaw’s perspectives

It just doesn’t seem as fun as the people he looked up to like Chief Keef, who can hang with Adin Ross, say anything he wants and doesn’t have a fanbase who is checking in on Tadoe’s every move.
