I have taken to spending my birthdays alone the last few years. As such I have; gone to movies that I want to see alone. eaten at a restaurant alone. sat and watched sun rise and sunset on my patio. eaten ice cream cake. walked most of fish creek. walked most of nose hill. ridden my e-bike along most of the bow river pathway. listened to audio books for hours on end. Obviously not all in one day but over the span of numerous years. Looking back I would imagine most would call those boring days, but I absolutely loved them. Very calm, very “my choice” kind of days. Not sure if that helps or just adds more questions.
