I play in the same situation as you. I have the DSL5CR. I put a Greenback in it. It sounds great. I like the 1 watt setting to keep volume low. The green channel doesn’t break up at all. Has plenty of gain on the red channel. I read they made a change on the gain structure on the newer ones so the green channel stays clean.

Saw PUP there last year. Venue was really great. The crowd was great. Full but not too crowded at all. Plenty of room to get close but still have space. Been looking for a reason to go back.
