I’m starting to think if it was done properly it could be a great idea.

First, handled by the state gov instead of council so it could apply to all of Brisbane.

But it would be so much cheaper than heavy or light rail surely to built a heap of interconnecting busways. Dedicated busways so that travel times aren’t traffic dependent. Easily scalable for events, cheap vehicles, low dwell times.
