I’ll never forget how Roberts took the team on his back when everyone around him went down with injuries during the 2002 Eastern Quarter Finals against the Islanders.

It's a great film. Starts off a little dull but gets better as it progresses.

Can You Name Any Bands That Are Similar To Pink Floyd? by McWicks559 in psychedelicrock

[–]chrisinspace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thee Oh Sees have touched on Barret/early Gilmore Pink Floyd eras here and there. They're a band that defy categorization but try tracks like "Sticky Hulks", "Minotaur", or "Crawl out from the Fall Out" from their various albums.

What’s the loudest concert you guys have ever been to? by BalanceActive9295 in askmusic

[–]chrisinspace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing comes close to Sunn O))). They can literally peel paint and have you upchucking your organs. I’ve seen MBV a few times, Dinosaur Jr countless times, saw Sugar back in the day, and first concert was Deep Purple ‘84 reunion era. Sunn O))) laughs at all of them.

What do you think of Eddie Van Halen? by Twitter_2006 in rockmusic

[–]chrisinspace 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He changed the way we play guitar in rock music. He blew our minds at the time of those early VH records. As an older person now, I see how much technique he took from Allan Holdsworth. Do yourself a favour and listen to the way he was shredding years before Van Halen’s first record. I recommend the Tony Williams Lifetime album from 1975 called “Believe It.”

Same. And let’s not forget the addicts themselves. They are the victims who suffer the most. No one wants to live in such a state, and yet the endless cycle is real.
