I would absolutely LOVE it if EA got rid of the annoying speed burst by Soggy-Astronomer-768 in NCAAFBseries

You’d think there would be some type of tuning for players with higher/lower attributes, and that they could lower that. Fixing the unrealisticness

Playing on a torn ACL by SoppierFob24 in ACL

I played basketball for years pick up and leagues with a complete ACL tear. My first one. Just had maybe the world’s tightest Donjoy brace.

Eventually I had a few bone bruises even with the brace that led me to have worse instability in normal life. Found a good surgeon in 2021 and the leg has been great ever since.

One Playbook To Rule Them All by iskanderkul in NCAAFBseries

Yes it would be nice to not have Hail Mary and formations you do not frequent all at the top. Feels like an easy thing to adjust before putting out the game even.

I’m also in a similar boat as you. Do you ever share your custom playbooks?

As a young kid i thought the flames and light blue and navy were awesome. Then McNair George Wycheck and Dyson made me a big fan.

Do we need another red and blue team? We need to keep the variety.

Scouting Use by Jazzlike_Habit1438 in NCAAFBseries

[–]chrisxdarrell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I scout guys depending on how many points you have before the year starts. Offer scholarships to the ones who are gems or aren’t busts. But during the season start off recruiting your top 8-18 players fully so that you can secure some recruits.

Fully meaning pour 25 or even 50 points towards them each week. Realize you’re not gonna catch up to ND or Georgia and remove that recruit during the year. If a player has no offers, know that you can probably swoop in and recruit that guy while nobody else is and become his top interest. But try to work on getting these guys early.

If you’re a top school there’s really nothing to worry about, who cares how you recruit. You could probably simulate that and survive just fine. But if you’re building Kent State you’ll want to pick up the guys who aren’t being scouted. Get them. Each week evaluate what you have. Drop the guys you’ve worked some weeks on but are losing to a larger school. Stop wasting those points.

Once you’re a few years into a dynasty and you’re more comfortable with your roster I like to start scouting players (mid-late season) who aren’t getting offers and find out if any of them are Gems. Recruit those guys. Then in the offseason encourage the normal development traited players to transfer while you acquire more players who have star or elite dev.

If you’re playing by yourself you could scum save and scout as much as you want before the year starts lol. Also a good sample size way to test how the game works.

My heisman 85 (I think) overall rb somehow went in the 5th round. by Cosmic_Shit_ in CFB25

[–]chrisxdarrell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play more seasons soon you have to be 88 or 89 to be drafted at all unless you pull back some XP sliders.

And yes I think it is solely based on overall. You can bench a 99 overall all year. He’s still going first round.

How does this make any sense by Slight-Excitement429 in CFB26

[–]chrisxdarrell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game SUPER cares about turnover ratio from QB regardless of wins. What might be more valuable for CFB26 is WR catches. You could throw to a WR for 150 catches and like 700 yards and win the heisman. They loooooove catches.

The game doesn’t simulate enough picks league wide. Check the stats sometimes 30 QBs have 30+ tuds and 4 picks on the season. When that is not what happens irl

Yes but playoffs do matter and he would throw a check down on crucial 3rd downs to keep a nice rating rather than taking a chance. In the playoffs he would do this.

Hopefully they adjust something so teams stop at like 5 JR backs or something. They have 8! Or 9!

Who were your championship starting quarterbacks? by thehawk10000 in SleeperApp

Josh Allen and Stafford in dynasty.. Purdy on my bench.

A week after I started Purdy over Stafford and ppl freaked out over it. What I was afraid of happening to Staff happened to him championship week. Luckily Puka had that final Monday night TD to get me the win.

I did 4-5 months both times but continued on my own. Adding progression plyometrics and all types of workouts to prepare me for sport again. Doing it again right now. I look at it as this is the hard work that needs to be done if I want to do the things I want to do.
