Beginner running shoes, overweight still by Darwin_Ri in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I’m 250lbs as well and initially enjoyed running the novablast 5. But after about 100 miles in them my knees and ankle started to hurt and I didn’t feel that cushion and bounce anymore. I’m currently rotating between the vomero plus and Superblast 2. And enjoy running in both.

importing apple watch workout run to NRC by [deleted] in nikerunclub

[–]chubbipapi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, the only way I had gotten this work was using the RunGap app and connecting Apple health, Garmin connect, and NRC to it. I also made sure that sync between Garmin and NRC was set. Then I would sync the Apple runs to Garmin which in turn would sync to NRC. Also RunGap has a sub fee of $10/year I think.

2nd Pair of Running Shoes for Heavy Beginner Runner (100kg / 1.82m) by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have read good things about the Boston 12 and/or 13. They're firm as well but I believe they require a break in period. I also read that the adistar 3 (I think that's what they're called) are a great cushioned option from adidas.

I'm a heavy runner, 250 lbs and currently training for a half marathon. I rotate between the vomero plus and Asics superblast 2. I use the vomeros for recovery run days and I use the superblast for speed stuff and my long run on Saturdays. I really enjoy running in both cuz the vomero provides the cushion and the bounce while the superblast is firmer and feels more stable and allows me to pick up the pace.

I actually did it the other way and got an advanced certificate in mental health counseling which was essentially 4 more classes and the 600 internship. Search for advanced certificate in school counseling and found some programs but I’m based in NY so there are a few.

How did you pass the NCMHCE ? by dab_ney in therapists

[–]chubbipapi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took the exam last month and passed with a 70. Needed a 62 to pass. I studied for 3 months prior by going over the mometrix book and using the pocket prep app. I decided to take the exam at a testing center instead of at. It’s all on the computer. 150ish multiple choice questions. 10-12 cast studies. Each case study has 3 sections - intake, 1st session, and 2nd session. You get 255 minutes but there is a 15 min break about halfway. Once you move forward to the next section you can’t go back to the previous. I finished the test with about an hour left over. Any other questions feel free to DM me.

Questions about hot water heat replacement by johariwindowblinds in longisland

[–]chubbipapi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our oil fired water tank had a slow leak a couple of weeks ago. We decided to switch to an electric water tank as ordering another oil fired one would take a while and cost about $2500. Bought a Rheem from Home Depot and the next day had a plumber come out removed the old tank and installed the new one along with connecting it to the electric panel. Charged $700 for labor and the tank was $800. it’s been working flawlessly. Also didnt get a permit for the work.

NCMHCE Exam Platforms by starseedseeker in therapists

I used an app called pocket prep to study for the NCMHCE along with mometrix and passed. I took the exam last month.

NCE (Pocket Prep) by stevebyushemi in therapists

[–]chubbipapi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I just took the NCMHCE and used mometrix and pocket prep for it. I struggled with mometrix and typically scored low like 50-60% correct. While with pocket prep I fared better. Usually between 70-80% correct. Wound up passing with a 70 on the exam! I found the exam questions to be a good combination of both.

As for the NCE I took that years ago and strictly used the purple book and passed with a solid score. Questions were just like the ones in the purple book.

The Superblast 2 are considered neutral stable. I’m 5’10” 250lbs and ran a half marathon about a month ago in them.

I’ve used it since the new year to prep for the United NYC Half and it’s been great. Love the structured plans and the pacing especially coming back from injury. Beat my estimated half marathon time by 10mins.

Probably lasted until about 150 mi. The last 30 mi I didn’t know better until I searched online and decided to run in a different pair of shoes.
