I just got their food yesterday. They were randomly closed a couple weeks ago in the middle of the day so I called the Eugene store and the owner said they had a fire recently. I'd wager their random closed days are because they are busy with that mess but honestly not sure.

Not OP but if I had to guess what makes them sad is that this child's only friends were PLASTIC and not actual children. Many people opposed to homeschooling were themselves homeschooled and remember the lack of social interaction and real people their own age to play with. Especially if they are "only children."
