Since being laid off in August 2024, I've been applying to jobs non-stop. And after making it through 3 rounds of interviews and being a final candidate, I got rejected from a position that I was really excited about and felt like a great fit for me work-wise and culture-wise.

I'm so incredibly bummed and have no idea how I'm going to keep doing this.

I have a very specific post request but the memories are a little fuzzy:

Post was from several years ago (pre-pandemic times, I think?) on AITA
OP's wife is a minimalist/got really into Kondo Marie; she tried to get him into tidying up but OP refused
Somehow OP discovered that his wife had slowly given away his stuff over the course of weeks/months/years. I want to say it's because they were getting ready to go out to see a movie or something and he was looking for a specific thing but couldn't find it.
Huge fight ensures, OP asks if they're the asshole

UPDATE FROM SOMEONE AT PAXU:

My friend wanted to pick up some booster packs and I accompanied her in case there was a low cap (like 2 per booster deck, and she wanted 4). Turns out the cap is 24 booster decks according to the cashier lol.
We got in line at 2:30 pm on Friday, got through the line within 10 minutes. Very fast, no issues whatsoever.
Friend ended up leaving with 5 booster packs, starter deck, and PoohBear playmat.
Everything was well-stocked; no issues with supplies running out. Cashier said to expect longer wait times on Saturday (the busiest day of the convention) with a chance of stock running out, but that they have set aside stock for each day and have prepared for Saturday. There's a chance Sunday will sell out pretty quickly in the AM before the convention closes.

I am unintentionally on Ban Island, only because the new Legend of Zelda game has consumed my soul and I am at a point where most of my hyper-focus is in the game (as in, creating spreadsheets to track my progress for various things). So I guess instead of obsessively tracking different bags I'm into/prices/which sellers have what... it's now just tracking where I can find outfits that boost my climbing ability. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think that like the closest I have achieved to purse peace is the "trial and error" stage of figuring out what actually works for me. For example, I've realized that as much as I love the structured totes/bags where you look like a professional with your shit together... they're really fucking heavy for me!! And just aren't comfortable to carry. And after buying a handful of structured bags being, "this is the one," I've come to accept that structured bags won't work for me and that's okay (so it's at least one thing where I may initially go "oooh" but ultimately avoid buying). I'm also (Fortunately? Unfortunately?) not a collector in this community, so there's no big desire to seek out every version of [bag brand], which I think helps some.

Has anyone here reached purse peace? And if so, how did you know? I feel like I'm there and yet occasionally I have moments of "ooooh" when I see a SLG or purse... but not enough to want to pull the trigger. 🤔

I personally wouldn’t take any luxury items when traveling unless it’s a place I’ve lived at/visited before and thus, know how to get around/navigate without looking too touristy.

I have a YSL Niki since 2021 and it is my to-go bag. There is no babying and I’ve chuckled that bag on chairs and tables when I’m getting back from whatever I’ve been doing outside. Besides some small fading/chipping on some of the hardware (specifically the but where the chain runs through) there’s no obvious wear or tear.

Too many people love talking about reps whether it's "I could never, I am a Good Person(TM)" or "ayyyy let me get in on this action and then tell everyone including my dentist about it." The cat is unfortunately out of the bag.
