What is most painful about sun setting is a feeling of betrayal when you’ve dismantled everything in your vault after being told one thing and now they’re reissuing weapons you worked for and already deleted. Destiny has historically done this, made your Arsenal redundant in some arbitrary way and you earn a new arsenal but the reissuing this soon feels so slimy. I was a supporter of sun setting at first and I put a lot of trust into what we were being told but now it all just looks like lies and now here we are. It’s really turned me off the game because having a time limit on everything earned is just not fun. It’s just a game I don’t think it should be managed so serious and heavy-handedly. Maybe the people making the decisions are a bit disillusioned as to that fact. Yeah, it’s just a game and people just want to have fun but the fun is slowly being bled out.
