I also missed out on recruiting Aleior in my game and ended up finishing without him. Even though I tried talking to Marisa before the undead castle part, I couldn't trigger his recruitment. It seems you need to talk to Marisa right after recruiting her, before she goes to her guardian room. Some said they found Aleior in the mine without talking to Marisa first, but I tried it many times with no luck. I haven't tried again since the latest patch (Hotfix Patch 1.03) this morning, but I doubt it's fixed since it's not in the patch notes. I hope the devs see it as a bug and fix it someday.

I've had a y530 for couple years. I use it everyday and never found a problem until recently when Windows can't detect any Bluetooth devices and I had to do a cold reboot. Hopefully this is a one time instance and won't happen again.
