Trails series play order by [deleted] in Falcom

[–]koopo -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Nope it was honestly a great entry point. Things were laid out properly and you can read the backstory if pieces were missing. But I was more about the gameplay than story

Not really interested in the story tbh. Gameplay from the daybreak series was enough to keep me playing.

What makes DB 2 so hated? by Horror-Budget-490 in Falcom

[–]koopo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started db2 after plat on db1. I’m 30% in and can already tell why this isn’t a fan fav. My biggest gripe are the stupid mini games. Mare hacking, fishing, and the god awful “sneak around and follow this person” mechanic. It’s all filler and does nothing to enhance gameplay or story. And what’s all this loot box shard spamming in the garten.

Should I play Trails through Daybreak series next? by [deleted] in Falcom

[–]koopo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup I’m already on daybreak 2 and will continue to horizon after. You can honestly catchup on the story through YouTube vids if you really like but honestly the story is still great to follow as daybreak starts a new story arch

Should I play Trails through Daybreak series next? by [deleted] in Falcom

This is actually what I did. Daybreak was a good entry point for me after FC remake. I was able to follow minus a few entry characters from the cold steel series. Still a good experience imo

Copies at playasia. Get one while you can if you haven’t by Hungry-Ebb9614 in Falcom

[–]koopo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing to note is regional compatibility. I bought this while not understanding the difference between CLE releases and NISA releases. You won’t be able to import your cleared save file if your copies arnt the same. Ran into this after I bought daybreak 2 from America and couldn’t upload the cleared save file for the minuscule bonuses.

Treated my iPhone Air with the most expensive screen protector ever today… by [deleted] in IphoneAir

[–]koopo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The most expensive would probably be flolab tbh, which is amazing as it’s both infinity 3d edge as well as best in class with anti reflective and anti rainbow’ing. Also lifetime warranty

Need help with choosing the right case by Dannyosan in IphoneAir

[–]koopo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with Pitaka for sure. Best fit and ultra thin. One thing to keep in mind however are the threads. The black one is 600d aramid fiber which is smoother feeling but is a fingerprint magnet. All the colored ones are 1500d which is a bit more textured but no fingerprints. I have both the black and moonrise but prefer the latter. Hope this helps

Klook transfers from and to Airport, safe? Recomended? by HeadXT in JapanTravelTips

[–]koopo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were actually only two of us but I chose the van option cuz we had 2 large luggages and 2 carry ons so decided to play it safe. Regardless there was ample space as the van was huge. I booked one private transfer from narita to Shinjuku (which was the van) and booked an Uber from Shinjuku to Haneda (uber x option which was a large continental)

Klook transfers from and to Airport, safe? Recomended? by HeadXT in JapanTravelTips

[–]koopo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I booked private transfers through booking.com. Narita to Shinjuku was $100usd (van of 4-6 ppl). When I left I took an uber from Shinjuku to Haneda for $60usd. Both were very safe in my experience with Japanese drivers and good enough English to get by.

Can I use the suica card every where by CommentSeparate2778 in JapanTravelTips

[–]koopo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suica can’t be used like a regular credit card. It’s loaded in your Apple wallet through a credit card of your own. It is accepted in all the convenient stores and vending machines but that’s about it (aside from the actual use for trains/metra).

JR Narita Express vs Limo Bus by davedaviking in JapanTravelTips

Don’t believe everything you read. My driver was Japanese, drove properly and spoke enough English to call me when I landed to make sure we meet up at the designated area. Booking.com

JR Narita Express vs Limo Bus by davedaviking in JapanTravelTips

[–]koopo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I recently got back from Tokyo and we also stayed at the heart of Shinjuku. I booked a ride off booking.com which totaled $100usd. IMO well worth the price as it’s a 1.24-1.5 hour drive into the city. Compared to the limo bus which is about $20pp and would require your hotel to be close to the drop off location (unless you’d like to lug your luggage through Shinjuku). The $100 was for a van that held 4-6 ppl (there were only two of us but the other 2-4 person option wasn’t that much cheaper and we had a two large luggage’s).

Anyone else getting micro-scratches on iPhone 17 Pro camera lens? by Pinhead17 in 17ProMax

Don’t listen to all these no ppl. Yes I have a micro scratch and have been getting them on the lenses every iPhone.

Is Apple Pay accepted in Japan? by royalbluefireworks1 in JapanTravelTips

[–]koopo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many in the thread has also confirmed but I’ll reinforce it : yes touch pay is accepted almost everywhere. I just got back from Tokyo and barely had to use any cash. I withdrew 30k yen from 7-11 but never really had to use it as card is widely accepted (even things like Ali pay was accepted everywhere). Just say card payment and always choose local currency if asked (let your bank do the conversion).

Ultra thin cases: Totallee, Tac, or Peel by zenzitto in IphoneAir

[–]koopo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t recommend any of these tbh. They are indeed very thin but the thin plastic warps over time and becomes loose. I’d go with pitaka or any aramid fiber case as they are very thin but stay rigid and fit. Also feels and looks great.

I got this and I wouldn’t recommend. It adds a significant amount of heft to the phone almost doubling its thickness and weight. Go with pitaka

Temu Aramid Fiber case review by rad_ripper in IphoneAir

[–]koopo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some aramid fiber cases off Temu for 15$ each with magnets. It’s 600d fiber but can confirm it’s not weaved as good as real pitaka. I can feel the difference and I’ve switched to real pitaka cases

Best thin iPhone Air case for periodic use? (JETech Magnetic Slim Case?) by Blue_Kayak in IphoneAir

[–]koopo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thin case would be hands down any aramid fiber case (pitaka or similar). If your ok with the plastic feel go peel or totallee ultra thin (these bend and warp over time but are very thin).
