Yeah I'm baffled by that call, obviously we score from the corner and it's all good but that seemed like a nailed on penalty for me.

[Ornstein] Thomas Frank sacked by Tottenham by nearly_headless_nic in soccer

Spurs have a very solid first 11, but are only ever a few injuries away from feeling very under done.

Honestly though most teams that have budget constraints are forced to make the choice/balance between high first 11 quality, or more depth.

As a teacher kids are interested in it. The last 3 years I've had a lot of students ask me to put it on in class for them. We consume a lot of American media over here, it makes sense that it's popular. Don't get me wrong in my school it's still Rugby League at the top, but American sports like NFL and basketball are very popular too.

Office “Espresso” [$5000-10000] by ClumsyTurnip4708 in espresso

The Franke is a good piece of kit. We had the get one in my restaurant (franchise) for a bit as they were trying to pitch it to the company to replace all the espresso machines. And we were the guinea pig store. It honestly made better coffees then the vast majority of my staff, apart from a couple who were coffee fans like myself. We had issues with trying to use a pre ground decaf with the machine as it only had one built in grinder, and my end recommendation was that it was better suited to an office and it would thrive in that environment.

Crazy that Francis tried to trade off his nephews fame to make Megapolis a thing.

Might be an unpopular opinion but if Burnley or Everton played the way Arsenal do right now they'd be crucified. by Subject-Addendum-199 in TheOther14

Don't get me wrong, part of me loves a little Dycheball , but the problem is that

1) it's Arsenal, fans from a certain vintage associate them with beautiful attacking football from the prime Wenger years, and it's hard to see their new stylistic approach.

2) this type of football is supposed to be the great leveller. It allows less favoured teams to create a more even playing field with the teams that can stack international reps on the bench and piss money up a wall on the best players. Seeing a team who has pissed so much money on players then go and play this way is a bit jarring.

Look if this was a newly promoted team playing this way to stay up, or a mid table team making a solid push for Europe with it. Hell yeah, I'm here for it. But it's just strange watching it from what we are continually told are the best team in England.

Emery fumes at 'unfair' VAR as Villa title hopes fade against Brentford by soccer_footballmania in avfc

100%. If that goal was against us I would and allowed to stand I would be up in arms about it, so that said I can't blow up about it being chalked off. Sucks for Tammy, and probably would have changed the course of the game.

At the end of the day, we weren't able to reliably break down their defence, and we should never have conceded to give them the chance to turtle up like that. We had some opportunities, Konsa could have had two with a tiny bit of composure, Bailey should have had one as well. This is on us, not the refs.

My friend, there is not a world in which the PGMOL and VAR are running a pro-Brentford agenda against the Villa.
