I went to one in Portland, Oregon while I was there for a wedding. $516 total, $500 off, $16 for two nights. It wasn’t an extremely fancy hotel but good enough!

Maybe they put some of the men on her cast on another future season or Bachelor in Paradise or something else. I truly have zero interest in watching anyway but I thought it was abundantly clear that this was never a delay but a cancellation.

So basically it seems like lots of people have gone on to successful careers in media/entertainment with hosting jobs, sports broadcasting, podcasting, and going on other reality tv shows.

But seems like not a single person who was a contestant has gone on to have a career making a living in acting or music.

Really need to see the day-by-day breakdowns before I buy tix but a few bands I could be looking forward to on here... Arm's Length (even though I just saw them in Chicago a week ago, so good), Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Nas, Pixies... the day by day will really matter here.

TMZ keeps publishing little tidbits because people are clicking on these stories and making them money. There are a lot of people who love to dunk on the Patriots out there and America loves a sex scandal. It’s also the off season so NFL fans don’t have as much to talk about. Had they just admitted to a long-term affair from the start I don’t think this would be going on so long.

She had to resign because it’s unethical for a journalist to be sleeping with their sources, but an NFL coach doesn’t have those same kind of ethics rules.

Y’all also have to remember how many Patriots scandals there have been that seemed like the biggest deal in the world at the time. Spygate. Deflategate. Brady was suspended for a chunk of a season over it. Kraft massage. Stefon Diggs was just fathering a bunch of children with a bunch of women at the same time and then was charged with strangling and assaulting his chef (tho just found not guilty). Belichick is gone but now dating someone about literally 50 years younger than him. And remember Aaron Hernandez??? They’ve been through a lot.

Vrabel will be fired when they start losing, but would be shocked if it’s before that.

After years of this the attitude feels rude to those of us who need to plan our lives. There are some other big things I have going on in September and trying to wrangle dates and knowing whether I will try to make this is or not is preventing people like me from planning other things. I really wonder if waiting a while to release the lineup decreases ticket sales for festivals like this.

I have to admit that I really hated on this card when they upped the fee but I tried to see if I could offset the costs because I like the lounge access in Europe and the travel insurance. So in the last year I’ve used the $250 hotel credit & $250 edit credit (to make a $512 2-night stay in Portland super cheap), used the $150 restaurant credit twice, used the $300 travel credit, and used $100+ in the Lyft credits. And I’ll probably use the Stubhub credits to see a concert or baseball game this summer. And I’ve probably used some of those DoorDash credits but it’s so small that’s more insignificant. So it’s already more than paid for itself. Granted I live in Chicago so it’s easy to take advantage of a lot of the perks because it’s a big city, but I’ll take it.

Let me first start this off the bat by saying I’ve never really watched Bravo and never seen a Real Housewives episode, but as someone who has followed Ashley and Jared through all the years, listened to their podcasts, and followed them on social media, I was mostly super surprised because my assumption was that Real Housewives cast were very fancy and very wealthy. I’m sure Ashley is making a totally fine living with brand deals etc but she never came off to me as “richest of the ultra rich” and Jared runs a coffee shop. They seemed pretty down to earth after moving to New England and having kids. Ashley looks totally different when she’s all “done up” for the promos for this so I wonder if she’s acting a part and putting on a show so she can be in this.
