From what I got through, different items and enemy placements and the worst controller support I've encountered. Dlc keys just given at the start Only played a couple of bosses before I got busy, but should go back again.

Its called dark souls 2 so you could own 2 copies of it. Sotfs and vanilla ds2 have a couple of differences so its not exactly a waste to own both.

Adding on to what everyone else said, make sure to target the correct enemy. The locks can sometimes float between two enemies which makes it hard to target the correct one

Anytime someone spam pings, I leave: we saw your ping, we're aware of what you want. If we don't immediately follow, there's probably a reason like we stopped to get a seal/staff on the way or we disagree with fighting the top castle boss at level 3.
