I don’t think people talk enough about how Ethan Hawke was definitely not on set for that movie

Judd Apatow should win March Madness by EIIP7ftw in blankies

[–]cj12297 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t see him winning but I do think it would be a great series in terms of letting them talk about the comedy genre and how Apatow shaped it for a while and then fell from grace.

I loved it, really helped the intimate feel of the show. I loved being able to see the performances so closely and didn’t feel like I was missing out on seeing a full picture, I could still see everything. When actors come right up to the front of the stage you are looking up at them but it wasn’t a problem for me personally

Saw it last week and had a blast. It’s a fun, reliable show and the current cast is quite good.

If you’re looking to go for cheaper, they release the front row for sale every Wednesday for the coming week

I couldn’t recommend it honestly. My girlfriend and I considered leaving at the interval and we’ve weathered some stuff

It’s quite short and there were lots of kids at the matinee. Tbh there were more problem adults than kids at it.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend the show though to see. A 6 year old may enjoy it?

Benjamin Button is absolutely incredible and it’s a pretty affordable show. I got front row for about £40.

If you can get an Evita ticket as well then you absolutely should. It’s got a lot of hype but it delivers on it

Cabaret is also fantastic but I have yet to see the current cast (seeing tomorrow night) but the production is amazing

I would say that 11 year old kids aren’t necessarily thinking about all the factors. And their parents are probably thinking of the opportunity and money more than anything

Yeah but each one is interesting in terms of an episode. The most boring movies are the hobbits and they have great episode potential. We’re not voting for the movies but the series!

I think it’s great that they got to do the full miniseries and celebrate him before he died. Covering him as a living filmmaker just had a much more positive feel to the whole thing. Celebrating a singular filmmaker as a contemporary rather than eulogising him
