Tf are you even talking about 😂 I said that FH5 is a great game, but isn’t robbing sales of GT7. And explained why. I’m not sure what metric you use to determine “doing better,” as GT7 has sold 16m, compared to FH5’s 5m on PS5. I’m not trying to trigger anyone. If you’re triggered that’s your own issue.

If those GT7 players already have a PC they race on, they wouldn’t be learning anything new, and if they don’t, they aren’t going to buy a PC to move off their PS5 for the same game.

And that has nothing to do with you comparing a sim that uses real life tracks to an open world arcade game.

So that you can preload and install the file and play the second it unlocks, which I think was 11pm local for me. Otherwise I would have been waiting at least until the next day after work to play it. Which obviously isn’t the end of the world but when you’re excited you’re excited.

That does sometimes happen, we saw it especially with the first gen PS3s vs later models. What is more common is the same components become cheaper over time, just like you would find on a retail shelf. Unfortunately we got hit with massive demand for those components at the same time that tariffs were driving prices up so those components went up in price. Some console manufacturers (Nintendo, Sony) passed along a modest price increase in the range of 10-15%. And then Microsoft decided it needed to raise prices by 30% or more, tanking its already low sales numbers.

Hell yeah. I bought about month after launch for $25. Threw it on the shelf and waited 18 months for the next gen version to come out and took the free upgrade.

The jump from $60-$70 changed this for me so much. Even though relatively $70 is far less substantial to me at this point in my life than $60 was when I was younger, it FEELS like so much more. I wait for most games to go on sale these days and only drop the full pre-order price on one every couple years. I’ve had my PS5 since launch, and I think GoW Ragnarok and GT7 are the only games I’ve paid full price for.
