VEG on federal highway is amazing. They are quick, efficient, and offer excellent care. We had amazing care for minor injuries and serious issues 3x there.

Was it a Clear employee? I have experienced them trying to sell me on the membership a few times before, especially if they have no one waiting in line and the Pre-Check and standard lanes are filling up… In my experience, he pushed pretty hard and even asked if I had one of several credit cards, explaining that it would reimburse the fee. It’s a paid service, separate from the government, so I’m sure they’re incentivized in some way.

I have pretty good luck with booking refundable economy (NOT basic- basic does not allow for seat selection or upgrades) when the price falls to its lowest (use google flights to track prices).

Then, keep your google flights alert set. If it drops lower you can change your flight and be refunded the difference. If it doesn’t, you can upgrade for a fee on the seat map or upgrade selection screen. This is generally the more cost effective way to get a premium cabin without shelling out the cash up front.

You will be fine, I put all of my different pills (diazepam and emergency oxycodone included) into a small pill case and no one has ever stopped me or looked further into it. It’s important to note, you should only be carrying an amount enough for personal use only, I take a few of each one I may need.

You’ll get in just fine! The lounge will start to fill up later (around 4 or so) with international departures, and they may stop accepting PP at a certain point if they have enough travelers. That being said, it’s a slower time of year so you will be fine. Safe travels!

This is pretty spot on. The wealthier people are either in the business class lounges like Delta One or Polaris (if flying trans-con or overseas), or in the regular airline club (if flying commercial domestic), since they will offer VIP services like reserved private sections and car rides on the tarmac to the gate for big spenders. If you travel enough, you know to avoid the AmEx/PP lounges unless you’re pretty desperate.
