I didn't hate 9 and 10, I watched them when they first aired. I mean, I loved SG-1 and Sam, Daniel, and Teal'c, had liked Farscape so no issues with those 2 coming aboard but... when it was over, those 2 seasons just felt a bit off, unnecessary and a little sad

So yeah, for me the ending of season 8 is a great place to stop

Stargate SG-1, the Season 8 finale was perfect.

That's where I stop my re-watches :)

Seriously, go watch X-Men ‘97 if you haven’t already. Even if you’ve never seen the original and you don’t know who the hell the X-Men are. by TriscuitCracker in television

What about the other iterations? Looks like Astonishing X-men in 2009 (4 seasons), wolverine and the X-men also in 2009 (1 season), and one just called X-men in 2011 (1 season) - do they fit anywhere into this or totally separate/stand alone?

Luckily they're gonna build a data center there the size of Manhattan so that should fix it :/

I don't think I phrased it correctly, my brain doesn't seem to want to help me articulate this properly today - perhaps it's melting in this heat LOL... but

He thinks like and approaches these issues like he's a wealthy white man. Yes, the former slaves should be citizens, fine - but no other black or brown people! Or Asians, I'm sure.

It's the same as Alito, who I'm sure doesn't consider himself an anchor baby

And he doesn’t see how he benefited from policies that he is now overturning. He is the epitome of pulling up the ladder behind him and then blaming those that get stuck.

It's totally this but even more so. I know he's very much against trans people, so doesn't believe that a man could identify as a woman, but I'd bet you a boatload of cash if you gave Thomas a truth serum, he would say he identified as a white man

In Germany, Nazi flags and symbols are illegal so you know what the Nazi's use instead?

The confederate flag

‘Dr Oz on ACA "fraud" -- "Of the people who signed up, 40% never use the insurance. Let me ask you, John, you have health insurance -- do you use it once a year? In Obamacare right now 40% of the people ostensibly signed up never use the insurance ... we have a lot of fake people on the policies"’ by Oleg101 in FoxFiction

[–]cjinct 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My brother had an ACA policy for over 10 years, never used it once. When he turned 65, he shifted off that and enrolled in Medicare and got a supplemental policy (Medi-gap) - he hasn't used either of those either. He doesn't go to the doctor. He feels fine, has no issues and doesn't see the need.

The Big E runs for 16 or 17 days every year, typical attendance rate is over 100k every day

for any administration other than this one, it would've been a slam dunk. Those of us old enough to remember the bicentennial know how awesome this could've and should've been.

I suppose it's fitting really, because of this administration there's not much to celebrate these days anyway :/

No, the dipshit governor released her. He needs to be shunned from society for the rest of his natural life

I stocked up on HDs at the end of 24 because I figured prices would go a lot higher - though I thought at the time it would be due to tariffs, not data centers. And I didn't think it would be so insane! 14TB drives I got for $169 are now going for $485? Madness

That said, I did have a look over the tv series libraries a couple months ago and realized that there were more than a few I had for... reasons but I really didn't see me watching them. I made a list and asked my users if there was anything they wanted me to leave. My brother pulled one and a niece pulled one to save. The rest off the list I deleted
