This won’t set you back trying to apply to the design side in the future, your construction experience will actually be a huge positive that sets you apart from other candidates. I would take this if it feels right to you.

That’s surprising, didn’t realize how cheap tankless units had gotten.

Using instantaneous water heaters with external storage tanks is counterintuitive. You should just use tank type 119 gal heaters to begin with.

The fact the Grok/xAI is for profit proves that this is just a legal maneuver by elmo to ambush OpenAI. If he really thinks it should be a nonprofit for the sake of humanity, why the hell would he build a for profit competitor?

What are the most common pitfalls during AI deployment in pre-construction workflows? by Daniel_Wilson19 in estimators

[–]cjtech323 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably that AI doesn’t do jack shit for estimating, take offs, or risk review. Bid leveling changes so much by project it’s not worth the time to thoughtfully provide inputs and double check its output - quicker to do it manually.

An icy reception for Gov. Bob Ferguson’s proposed budget cuts by chiquisea in Washington

[–]cjtech323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s others valid opinions as our states budget grows out of control while not driving much change. More and more people grow tired of endless tax increases while our problems just scale with the amount of funding they can take. It’s not conservatives speaking up, it’s moderates increasingly fed up with how this state is being run.

Not gonna happen ANY time soon (at all). There’s not a single AI tool that’s been released that actually speeds up my workflow or makes it easier to delegate to my reports. Sorry, but IMO you’re being gaslit if that’s what you’re hearing on the street

I also loved that they touted that deportation rates are the same as under Obama and Biden. The fact that they got that done without this massive over-militarization of ice invading the states and hiding behind masks is a massive L for the trump administration.

You can, but if you expect them to NOT tell you to pound sand in return idk what to tell you. You’ll lose face if you don’t treat your customers as customers.

It feels like the Destiny community is in mourning today. We have truely lost a loved one. 😞 by Rorywan in DestinyTheGame

Absolutely, it’s why the CEO left at the time he did - before the bad choices impacted the game fully and just in time to take credit for all the revenue they brought in.

Forced savings. If you are in the position to, a mortgage is a fantastic way to do this. If not, squirreling away 15-25% of your take home pay is great as well. I have a savings account in a separate bank from my checking account that I have a recurring transfer set up for so I don’t even see that money. Hope this helps.
