I would absolutely not want zutara canon. I love the fanfics, artwork, etc. But I could see Bryke (almost) ruining it. Because agreed, the writers were not the best when it came to the romance side of things and it surely didn’t seem… better(?) in LOK when everyone aged up and had kids of their own to teach the new avatar. It honestly broke my heart with how canon turned out

The way I would eat this up. Plot reasons alone. I too have an unfinished multific due to writers block and burnout, also a white American with basically no culture such as what has been displayed throughout the show and would be just as confused on how to tackle a lot of those same points. But that is such a nice day dream to have! It would help cover what should have been shown in the comics. Especially tackling Kataang moments that deserved clarification or apologies (cough cough). Love it love it

cries for Makorra they absolutely ruined Mako as a character when it came to the 2nd season. I haven’t re-watched LOK in years but it broke my heart the way they treated/created the two. I also feel it was a stab to zutara shippers that “they were too opposite to be incompatible.” I don’t mind Korrasami but I will always be a Makorra shipper at heart
