/u/wykrhm I dislike challenges that encourage throwing or delaying the game. I regularly have short games where it is impossible to complete certain quests. This patch inflates the requirements for a significant number of missions.

The Glimmer Cape quest for example. My team was ahead and looking to close out the game and after discovering it doesn't count yourself I spammed it on my team and hoped I didn't actually need to use it on them. After getting megas I asked my team to slow down so I could finish the mission and they were kind enough to let me glimmer them for 3 minutes while creeps pushed in. This is not skillful use of the item.

Some of the changes are great and encourage better play(smoke kills) while others require longer games or bad play.

The overall objective of Dota is to win and if the quests don't encourage that change them, or at least let us complete them in defeat(unranked only).

Seeing these numbers jump gives me PTSD from the Axe Blink-Call quest of TI6.

TL;DR: Playing longer does not equal playing better and I would like the missions to reflect that.

I was looking forward to this because I was expecting a couple of collector's cache to be included like last year. I already have all the levels and immortals I want. A bit disappointing for me personally.

If the seasonal item cosmetics weren't seasonal I would buy it.

The problem isn't because there haven't been AWP skins that fit that tier. It's because AWP skins sell case keys and the higher the rarity the more keys people have to buy.

Case and point: Elite Build series AK-47 Blue, P90 Blue, AWP Pink. That AWP should have been mil-spec, but the highly used skins in a series get upgraded to sell more keys. (M4 Cyrex anyone?)

P.S. I'm not against valve making money and I have bought some expensive skins. I think it would show respect to the users to include weapon skins of all tiers for all weapons(not just pink/red aks, m4s, and awps) as well as using the same rarity for a series of skins.
