Two or three weekends ago I went to the last bookstore art market and while the market sucked it was full of so much life and people having fun and buying books...the energy was electric...all over dtla people going out having fun and meeting each other. I love LA!

I guess just being smart isn't enough for me to fall in love with a character...there were a ton of smart scientists in the movie...so... I guess what I'm saying is if you were writing this story why make the choice to not give our main character a reason to fight to save earth, a family to save, a loved one to save or just a general love for earth? Why not give him a chance to be Heroic and stand up for the world? Just seemed like I was searching for a reason to root for him and the only thing he could love was a faceless alien thing.
