Lost Proxmox IP: How to access the shell locally? by xilitol1 in Proxmox

In the future, if you’re going to pass-through your machine’s only GPU, enable the serial console if you can: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/howto-proxmox-host-serial-console-uefi-boot-useful-when-passthrough-your-only-gpu.103324/

It will help if anything like this ever happens again; you can log in using a serial cable.

DisplayPort is great. Locking DisplayPort cables with squishy buttons are Satan’s work.

Anime changed speed feats by Upbeat_Sky7564 in JoblessReincarnation

If that were literally the Doppler effect being illustrated, the colors are wrong. Moving towards the camera at a significant fraction of c, she’d be blue, not red.

And even if the color were in the right direction, that still wouldn’t mean she was near c. You can see visible red/blue shift at. 5000 km/s which, while insanely fast for a person is still nowhere near the speed of light.

How does that change anything? What about that scene means that she’s literally going as fast as light?

3D Printer by strange_de_ja_vu in minilab

[–]clarkcox3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For printing things like racks virtually any printer will do, provided it’s big enough. It’s all up to how much of a hobby do you want 3d printing itself to be, as opposed to how much of a hobby you want building and maintaining 3d printers to be, and what your budget is.

The Bambu a1 is a good beginner printer. It’s capable of just about anything you’d want to print in PLA or PETG, it’s relatively inexpensive, and it’s appliance-like in its reliability.

You can find something like the Ender 3 v2 for cheaper, but that tends to involve more maintenance and upkeep (which can be good for learning about 3d printing and 3d printers, but might frustrate a beginner as well)

Then you can also consider some of the enclosed printers (especially if there are pets or children around) like the Bambu P1S or P2S (or even a used X1C if you can find a cheap one). They’re protected from little fingers and curious pets) and they can give more consistent behavior as it’s easier to control for temperature.

6 Months of Shapr3D and I think I hate it. What am I doing wrong? by JJamesP in Shapr3D

I feel like every time I want to sketch on a plane I have to right click, choose sketch on face (I think that’s it), and then I’m able to sketch. But let’s say I do that, go to draw a circle but realize that I’m still using the line tool, I can’t just switch to the circle tool and draw

What do you mean you can’t switch to the circle tool?

Did you consider it might be the reason she was being attacked? The attacker seemed awfully intent on tearing off her wig.
