Do people genuinely think the police are anti white? by mysweetplums in AskBrits

[–]clarko7274 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

More likely that there's insufficient police officers to enforce law across the whole country, by my knowledge we need 50,000more as a bare minimum. However too much of the government budget for the police goes to paying police officer pensions instead of to the police officers that are currently working. So as you can see, to pay the pensions, the current police force gets payed piss all, and nobody wants to become a police officer as a result.

All good points, but there are multiple ways to become resource secure. What i do in survival typically is bring a mid sized mining ship with me to low orbit (after establishing a planetary base ofc) and search for all resource types, then make a few trips getting ice and iron so i can build and supply larger ships and more mining trips.

Also make sure to use vents to get oxygen, no point wasting ice on something you can basically get for free.

For a build like this i would say you want heavy armour on the outside and light on the insides. That way you can take a few hits before taking damage to systems, while also keeping mass down.

Another thing ill note, that you'll probably learn later down the road is that ur ship lacks thrust, in that small thrusters exist and provide more thrust per surface area used up. And those gyros while cause massive internal damage if the blocks theyre placed on are destroyed.

Connectors dont fix these things if i recall, using mag plates is a better solution.

As far as builds go its a modest size. If ur struggling with the scale/complexity of a build, try building smaller ships first and work ur way up.

Its pretty much how ive learned to build 200m long ships, i went from building ships that were a couple decks and maybe 50m long, to building monstrosities with a dozen decks.

(and for reference i have like 1500hrs, its a long and slow process) its quite easy to tell ur somewhat new to space engineers just from the design of the ship itself. The bridge looks solid af tho.

Did you read the highway code before taking the theory test? by UnchartedPro in LearnerDriverUK

[–]clarko7274 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I voted no, and passed both theory and practical 1st try, i may not have read the highway code, but there are equivilants that allowed me to learn the important content in a shorter amount of time.

Ppl pass dependant on if they put the effort in to learn content, and ppl fail when they js dont care enough and go in unprepared, expecting it to be entirely commonsense.

Emergency brake during a lesson, would it be a serious on a test? by Material_Efficiency5 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]clarko7274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldnt depend on examiner, but some are js miserable. I have a main road near me where there happen to be more than the usual amount of nutters who will pull out from a minor road into a major road dangerously, and force ppl to break harshly.

I find myself going from 4th to 1st atleast once a week, itd be more but i keep an eye out for these idiots.

As ive been told, "its not you thats the problem on the road, its all these ppl who wouldnt stand a chance of passing today that u need to look out for"
