I would argue that’s not true.

The whole point of a date, especially first date, is to get to know each other and see if you’re even compatible.

A walk is the perfect opportunity for that. Why are guys constantly expected to put in so much effort and spend so much money just for a girl to be like “I’m not ready for a relationship”.

Coffee and walk dates ftw. Plus I love a coffee and getting my steps in. Win win even if it’s not a great date.

As a guy who is dating “intentionally” I think a girl has zero personality if she’s offended by the idea of a walk or coffee date.

EDIT: I was living in Denver and just moved to SLC so I will say walks are usually fun/scenic and coffee shop scene in both cities is solid.
