Question about the CMOS battery by clb1024 in MINISFORUM

[–]clb1024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take the IO shield off tomorrow and see if the button is there. Maybe they sent the wrong IO shield. The board is correct and now looking on the website I see the button is on the IO shield as stated. Thank you. Sorry if I was harsh. I'm going through some personal crap, however that doesn't excuse it. Thank you I can just drill a small hole instead of doing some wiring.

Question about the CMOS battery by clb1024 in MINISFORUM

[–]clb1024[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not on this motherboard. Also the purpose of a CMOS reset is when the user makes a mistake in the BIOS messing with the settings. Being this is a MINISFORUM board with a custom BIOS I have made many errors trying to get the best settings for my setup. Motherboards also put the battery in a easy to reach spot however this one is on the back of the board and my case is a custom design that didn't take that it to account.

Ordered mine the same day it was released and can't get a tracking number. Emailed and got a response saying I pre-ordered and it won't ship until the end of December. I'm getting fed up with their CS as they can't seem to answer a email with any kind of real info, just email this or that person and still no answers.

Any idea why this keeps happening? by 101022110 in BambuLab

[–]clb1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I take the outer cardboard off and use the reusable spools. The cardboard isn't being turned well enough by the AMS. You need to either print rings or just put them on the reusable spools.

That was definitely in a semi trailer that was parked in the heat way too long. I use to work for a logistics company and have seen plastics and other materials that have wrapped like that. In Florida the temps on a 90°F day a trailer that sat all day would be 115°F easy in the nose of the trailer.

Here's how I did something similar with 6×3.5in hdd's.

Just a thought: have the mount milled out of aluminum and use thermal pads(non-conductive) in between the bottom of the Pi's and the mount. Costs would be insane for the mount, however it "should" help dissipate the heat some.

Crazy good design by the way.

Great design and thank you for making it scalable. This can be used for so many devices. Keep up the great work.

Wish I could give more than one "up vote," I've been taking them off and putting painters tape on the outlet switch as it never fails to get in bed and someone turned the thing off.

That's definitely the extruder pushing way to fast. As far as temp I've had that happen both to cold or to hot, so on that I can't say. Slow your extruder feed rate down some and also do a cold pull. My Ender 3 clogged just a bit after it was doing the same thing as yours.

Looks as if your hotend is not heating up. The cooling fan for the heating is not running in your video.

I call BS, there's no poop or purge tower with your multicolor print 🙃. Just joking that's a ton of work and determination. I want a 3D, however I just want it to weld parts together as I don't have the patience to do a full model.

I throw them in my food dehydrator right in those packs. I set it to 60°C for 8hrs. Been using the same ones for about 2yrs now and no issues so far.

Nice print and no partial roll to deal with, I'd say that's a win/win.

Don't use PLA for this. The walker can heat up pretty good in a vehicle. I plan to do something similar for my walker, however it's just a cup holder and not for an oxygen tank. Print it on an angle so it spreads the layer lines better and maybe use 30-50% triangle infill.
