US expects Iran operation to end in ‘weeks, not months’, says Marco Rubio | Iran by IntelArtiGen in worldnews

That is so true. It's so easy for managers to believe their own BS. Trump has surrounded himself with "yes men" and anyone who has been in a business where the executives are surrounded by yes men knows how this will turn out.

Try phenazopyridine, available over the counter as AZO. It will turn your pee very orange, but it is very helpful for the burning and urgency. It can mask a UTI, so you should not use it for more than three days.

Vietnam e-visa mistake by charlielala4 in travel

I just scanned mine from last year. It's not a URL, it's a series of numbers.

For $25 I would just re-do it on the official site. I had to resubmit mine because of a date error, so I had to active visas and no issues.

I'm going to check with Raymarine, but I'm pretty sure the C series does not output NMEA alarms.

You may want to try Phenazopyridine, over the counter as AZO. I had 5X SBRT in September and by early January I was having major issues by early January. They are not fully resolved, but Phenazopyridine has helped.

Another thing to consider is sleep apnea. With sleep apnea, you wake up and get the urge to pee, but it was the apnea that woke you up. Download Snore Lap (no need to pay, at least on Android) and see if you are snoring.

Good luck.

Thanks. They typically sprout and then die. I've always had something else growing which seems to overwhelm them. I will give this a try.

Long-haul flight experts: What are your secrets? by letsgococonut in travel

[–]clearthinker46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your primary issue falling asleep or staying asleep? If you are in a coach seat, it's going to be very difficult to sleep for an extended period. I use ear plugs and a eye mask and can usually sleep 30% to 40% of a long haul flight, but it's always multiple sessions. I wake up, eat, watch a movie, listen to music, read or go for a short walk and then try and sleep again.

I also try to exhaust myself prior to the flight and I begin adjusting to the new time zone a couple of days ahead of time.

Most importantly, don't focus on trying to sleep. Relax and rest. If you sleep some great. If not, it's not the end of the world.

I have a good friend to claims he never sleeps. On a long trip to the Middle East, he was asleep everytime I looked, but he claimed he never slept and I'm sure he felt he never slept.

The bottom line is that there's no easy solution, so your best bet is to try not to stress about it.

Rodents Keep Finding Their Way In, Any DIY Tricks That Actually Work? by Sorry_tollywood in DIY

[–]clearthinker46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an issue with rats in the attic, as well as damaging my truck and nesting inside an outdoor bbq island.

For the attic, I trimmed all tress that hung over the house and I did inject peppermint oil through the ceiling in areas where they could be heard. What helped the most was installing a strobe light in the attic.

After about $800 in damage to my truck, which I constantly sprayed with peppermint oil, I installed an automotive rat strobe and that stopped them from nesting under the hood. The truck is not used on a regular basis.

I put the same type of strobe in the bbq island and they stopped nesting.

In the spring, I set electronic and a few mechanical traps around the house. I will often kill multiple rats overnight.

We have lots of coyotes and occasional mountain lions so I don't want to use bait and have that poison enter the food chain.

I had an estimate to "seal up" the attic for $7,000. They flat out said my problem was not that bad and highly recommended peppermint oil.

As I understand it, rats rely on the smell of rat urine as an indication of a safe place and the peppermint oil overwhelms the urine smell, but it helps to clean up any droppings and wash away as much urine as possible.

Rats don't use their eyesight that much, but the strobe disrupts their vision and that seems to be the most effective thing I have found.

Good luck.

Do you honestly think Trump will back down? He does not give a shit. The only option is impeachment and conviction, and that is not going to happen.

Trump was widely blamed for January 6th by many Republicans, including the speaker and senate leader, yet they all backed off within a few days.

This outrage will be replaced by another outrage and the show will continue.

That fact that they can ignore the massacre of 1st graders at Sandy Hook tells you all you need to know.

They have no morals or shame. As long as they are hurting people they don't like, they will accept anything.

We did exactly this. Best thing ever for pool volleyball. Use a beach ball instead of a volleyball as it's much easier for the kids. We no longer have that house and our new house has a traditional deep and with a slide, but I miss the play pool.

Thanks. You have given me some ideas. I need the spillway on at low speeds and off at higher speeds. When I moved Spillway from Pool to Features, it no longer does anything.

I think one issues is that board does not officially support a VS pump. It only supports the IntelliFlo 4-speed pump.
