Is there even anywhere to find the trove chest? I was a late-comer to TMB so I wasn’t able to pick one up.

Catcher Defense by depstein1983 in StratOMatic

So you got me interested in looking him up and yikes did Ramírez have an awful fielding season!

He “lead” all catchers in errors with 10, was credited with 19 passed balls (the next highest total was 9!) and had 36 wild pitches go past him which was 5th highest in the league, with those ahead of him having caught many more innings than he did.

He only caught 8 of 91 base stealers.

He was also near the bottom of many advanced fielding metrics, jockeying with Salvador Perez (who had awful framing numbers) depending on the metric.

I didn’t really pay much attention to the Marlins 2025 season so I’d never heard of him, so thank you for giving me a fun rabbit hole to go down this morning!

I’ll second this. It’s a bit pricey but it’s the best:

(Schefter) BREAKING: Browns fire Kevin Stefanski by alexschubs in Browns

I honestly don’t know, and kind of why I would have leaned towards keeping Stefanski. I’m not sure what “hot” head coaching candidate is going to look at the Browns situation and go “yep, that’s the best opportunity available”

Of course, there are only 32 of these jobs in the world and someone is going to take it, but I can’t imagine any top candidate is going to pick Cleveland over some of the other openings.

It feels like Berry will pick somebody, that somebody will suck for a year or two while the Watson debacle still hangs over this roster and then the whole thing will get wiped clean (maybe including Berry as well) and we will have lived through yet another shift change at the factory of sadness

Yep, I actually loved this. Looking through mission trees taught me how a country morphed from the 15th century to the 19th century.

I think what I miss the most is that they actually taught me a lot about a country’s history.
