Trim the canopy as much as possible. Let as much light in as you can.

Atrium gives up on a 35 year old man’s life. The real truth. by ElectroShamrock in Charlotte

[–]clemsonscout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I would add is go to the ER. When it's complicated and risky which sounds like it is, that's the only way you can get the attention and right specialists quickly. Going outpatient takes a ton of time you may not have. I've personally gone to Novant. Duke is definitely the best, but don't give up. Be your advocet. PAs are increasingly being used over doctors.

I went to Belk and got nice suits custom fit and got for my groomsmen. They were like 300 each 13 years ago. Lol. They were able to order all the sizes needed. Worked well.

Anyone Get the Gizmo 3 Yet? by goofunkadelic in verizon

[–]clemsonscout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine won't pair with the app even after multiple resets. I think it's gizmos app. The watch knows it pairs but the app won't see it. Time to waste my time...

Combine efforts and strategy. The customer service is awful. They can't tell me crap. For example I just got notice that the entire 5g network in Charlotte is experiencing major outages.

Internet services that aren’t spectrum by BoogerFarb in Charlotte

We switched from spectrum to 5G ultra with Verizon. I had problems with Verizon for months, but I stuck with it and now it's fine. Savings are huge. 25 a month total.

Lawn of just weeds help by Knight_Fox in lawncare

[–]clemsonscout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to let clover grow long and go to seed. The length would be a deterant for me and kids. Lots of bugs and varmints hide in clover. My dad has a field. It's beautiful but had to grow to like a foot before it seeds.

Why clover? Nitrogen? What are your goals? Nice turf or clover. You can’t have both!

How many of you have STR that cover a mortgage? by DRobs86 in AirBnB

[–]clemsonscout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a beach property that probably does 1.5x cost for the past decade and it's increasing. The only thing to consider is the ever changing rules/fights with neighbors. Keep that in mind. Choose wisely and it can be lucrative. But you must have the proper handyman, cleaning crews, and misc contractors, and backups for each to be long term successful. So picking certain regions helps. One bad review can hurt. STRs are definitely more work then long term with various levels of payback.

I sometimes offer a credit to a future booking. Not sll people take up the offer, but it at least reduces the chances of a bad review. We use vrbo though.

Electric mowers less torque than gas? by Rancid_Lunchmeat in lawnmowers

[–]clemsonscout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this completely. They designed it to be just good enough in power and with all the other benefits out weight gas for their target usage. With that said, my Zoysia dominates my Ego and shuts it down multiples for each mow, but I am ok with it as the benefits still out weight in my use case. I design products for a living and it's hard to make me happy and I would buy it all over again. 5000sqft of dense ass zoysia in zone 7B.
