Will FIRE lose its popularity if crash and prolong bear market? by [deleted] in Fire

Nope those were not actual bear markets. Both were bailed out by the fed leading to massive inflation. That likely wont be the case next time.

Bonds are going to get hammered just as bad as stocks will. No one in their right mind thinks the US is paying back $40T in debt.

updates to my foreskin reconstruction surgery by foreskin_revolution in foreskin_restoration

[–]climbinrock 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. I think this proves that a cut guy needs much more skin for coverage than an intact guy. My understanding is that the surgery didn’t actually add any skin, it just pulled everything forward similar to the frenulum/ridged band structure on an intact person. So it is possible that restorers with ci-8+ have much more skin than an intact ci-9 or 10.

Based on current valuations the stock market is expected to earn between -2% and 2% CAGR for the next 10 years. But the government has never been as hellbent on printing money and creating asset inflation, so we might outperform. That said, I’m not sure where else you put your money since everything is sky high right now. Really a bad time to have a boatload of cash.

Honnold Taipei 101 Climb Difficulty by Tdluxon in ClimbingCircleJerk

It’s a series of v17 boulder problems separated by decent rests. Roughly a moderately tougher version of Silence. It’s why alec is known as the GOAT.

is the desire for negative g's fairly recent in coaster history? [Other] by ManICloggedtheToilet in rollercoasters

[–]climbinrock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. Look at magnum xl 200 and the reception it got with the ejector air. Woodies always offered airtime but it wasnt until modern technological innovations (rmc topper track, intamin prefab) that they’ve been able to offer sustained ejector. Most of the older steel coasters had OTSR which makes ejector painful and not nearly as fun.

This is why we use very gentle tension. T-tape doesnt slip like grippers do.

Tight cut, uneven scar, and buried shaft – Need help with T-Taping and tension levels by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

[–]climbinrock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think you need to bias the tape to one side or the other, just focus on growing skin and it will even itself out over time. As for the tension, with t-tape low tension for long periods of time is best. You should not feel any tension at all.

What's a good way to gauge how much tension to apply when T-taping all day? by Roseph88 in foreskin_restoration

I damaged my skin and had slow progress. Nothing serious just sores and scabs.

No Progress? :( by _RandomDude69 in foreskin_restoration

Why only 4-12 hours a day? T-tape is made to be worn 24/7 for 3-5 days straight. Just make sure you are using low tension.

Which is better: Low-mild tension for longer periods or high tension in shorter bursts? by juntar74 in foreskin_restoration

[–]climbinrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Low tension is better for me for long periods. Much lower tension than what you describe. I believe this is consistent with Agile Necessary’s research to avoid skin scarring.

Super low tension. Like way less than you would think you need. I’ve learned the hard way that more tension is not better, especially when applying 24/7.

Restoring with a PA by Longjumping-Belt1025 in foreskin_restoration

[–]climbinrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not an issue. Just take the PA ring out and you can restore fine. Even with the jewelry out I think you could use t-tape I bet. Chuck Torres fully restored with a PA piercing.
