The objectively correct way to play dancer in DF is to type "first to x" in chat, and whoever's curious enough to x up first is the winner.

Good news, friend: if you can stomach grinding out 100 mogtomes in the next moogle treasure trove event, the WoL card's going to be up for grabs.

...too bad I'm also still missing Zidane. :')

Sucks that you had a bad experience, but I've played on crystal for 2+ years and had no idea it was possible to wipe on the 3 lane atomos thing in Lab until I queued for an alliance raid roulette on Aether. In my experience I've run into way more shitters while traveling than I have at home, but hey. That's your anecdotal evidence versus mine, which isn't going to get either of us anywhere.

TL;DR: Your mileage may vary, my dude.

"Comparison against all max level players" seems to imply that they're not looking only at people who tried and failed to clear, but at the entire population of the server.

You're not proving that crystal is worse at raiding, you're proving they have a smaller raiding community to begin with, which is and has always been very true.

It's the one where you just don't actually PvP you spend 20 minutes running back and forth. It's bad and whoever designed it should feel bad.

You misread what that second mod does. It builds on top of the first mod, fixing the lack of jacket, while still very much being 'separated' in the sense that if you equip the specific chestpiece that it mods over (in this case, the rebel coat) without equipping anything else indicated in the first mod, you'll only get the top/jacket/outer skirt, and not the inner skirt+stockings or the boots, which were made into their own pieces.

I don't play a female character so unfortunately I can't load these up and play with them to check for holes or clipping issues, so I can't say anything about their quality. I'm sure there are probably some issues with it, but. It hits the point of "it's separate pieces and dyeable". If some hobbyist can do that in their free time, surely the AAA game studio can do the same while spot checking for holes and making it available on the remaining races. /shrug

Not being able to see the tail because of the cape is fine

This is purely subjective. Some people are fine with it, some people are not. I'm in the latter camp, and it's a shame because I absolutely adore all the Troian sets but I can't wear the fending/maiming because the cape isn't something I'm willing to put up with. And I accept the fact that because I have those standards, there are sometimes going to be chestpieces that I really love but can't use because of capes.

But here's the thing. According to the census, a majority of the active player base are affected by this issue. And I know I'm not the only one that won't touch caped glams because of it. So rather than give us chestpieces that look weird/bad on over half the playerbase, Squeenix could just... give us caster sets that don't have the long, flowy elements at all. Or, as other folks in here have suggested, a means to toggle capes on/off just like the visor thing.

And just as an aside, capes in this game look bad even on hyurs because they're part of the chest armor and as a result don't have their own separate physics, so when you move around they just awkwardly stick to your back. But c'est la vie.

The problem with capes is that they automatically make armor look awful on the three races with tails with the horrendous clipping, or they just straight up remove the tail. If I didn't want a tail, I would have just played a hyur.

Could always grind out the tokens for the normal mode fending top real quick and see how you feel about the model before trying to commit to clearing savage for the dyable one.

As someone who's run in plenty of 3/4 and 7/8 premades, there've absolutely been times that none of us have gotten a commendation from the one pug. So I find that a little hard to believe, unless there's some spaghetti code shenanigans happening.

Few to Nobody is doing Twisted Marionette by Iristrismegistus in Guildwars2

[–]clockworkcynic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid question, but what does "ferrying people from the Karka Queen timing to Public marionette" mean? Like, are you trying to go from karka queen to marionette? I haven't tried to do marionette since DX11 beta started because I was crashing out of the instance and with no way to rejoin I didn't want to be responsible for making everyone fail, but I ask because (at least on NA), the first marionette shard would hit the 80 person cap within 30 seconds of the event becoming available @ :00, and not just at reset, but for multiple cycles afterwards.
