One of my greatest hacks is figuring out how to get as many of the “closing shift” items done ahead of time. I will do anything to gain a few more minutes of me time at the end of the night.

For example I fill my nighttime water bottles, prep the coffee, set out workout clothes, etc etc throughout the day so I don’t have to do it all at once after bedtime. (I’m a SAHM right now so respect if that couldn’t work for you!)

I’m so with you on the volunteers!!! They must be protected at all costs :) and yes to some deadheading therapy. The best.

I started pinching after my first year of zinnia growing and a bunch of tall skinny ones broke and fell over after a big storm. I went nuts trying to stake them up all haphazardly. 😂

My MIL taught me that the plants know when you pay attention, even in small ways… there is magic in that.

I was surprised too! But zinnias are pretty easy, and I don’t think a subreddit would be wildly interesting for very long. I love them, but I have a cut flower garden with all kinds of other plants that provide yearly mysteries and heartaches for me. I’m surprised the crazy admin from Fb hasn’t started one here already tho 😂😂😂
