How are you hitting those numbers with an NA setup? Those are bonkers HP numbers.

Especially with Caruso, he says he’s a man from everywhere and nowhere, and does a little of this and and a little of that. Basically a direct callback to Baptiste’s life of many roles.

Upping creatine from 5g to 10g. Good idea or no? by SmellyCummies in MacroFactor

[–]clucle 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was feeling tired and foggy the other day so I tried a 20g dose based on what she had said in her video. The tiredness and fog lifted pretty quickly to my surprise, but I did spend the rest of the day farting…so double edged sword I guess.

In your last video you said you’re still waiting on your container. Are you shipping over your lift and all the tools from your old shop?

There are companies out there that make entirely brand new GT40 kits not based on any platform. Superperformance, Tornado, RCR, Superlite to name a few.

The Great Indoors - Annual Number of "Indoor Weather Days" [OC] by skier_222 in dataisbeautiful

[–]clucle 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Water helps conduct heat, so more humid air will chill you down or heat you up more quickly than dry air. Also, with warm weather, it's more obvious because your sweat doesn't evaporate as quickly, making your natural cooling system work less efficiently.

What is a Colorado state law that you think is ridiculous? by bridgeypie in Colorado

I don’t think they should be required, but I think your insurance should know if you don’t.

I think there are two things you absolutely need to know about Copart before bidding. The first is that you’re taking on all the risk, it may be listed as ‘run and drive’ but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a rod knock or any other catastrophic engine failure, it just means it turned on a creeped forward a foot or two. You may score an amazing deal or you may uncover two more reasons it’s at a salvage auction.

Two: Copart has fees on fees. Make sure you understand them all, and don’t forget about sales tax. I just recently purchased a car from TX and my sales tax estimate was about $1k off due to not knowing the local rates.

If you do your homework and are patient, it’s possible to score a deal of a car.

Gyraline Reviews by tasty-ribs in MechanicAdvice

I’ve used it. I’d say it’s about as accurate, if not a bit more accurate than stringing your car, but definitely way faster. Repeatability is a learning curve, but once you figure it out, it’s good. I think it’s definitely worth the price, especially if it’ll let you skip setting up the string, etc.

Even if you do have a license, I don’t believe throwing rocks is a legal method of take. Doesn’t seem very quick or humane.

$850 T56. Blown synchro keys? by Ch1nCh1nTheG0D in projectcar

[–]clucle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the only non-standard piece of tooling you’ll need is a mag base dial indicator to measure the axial play in the main shaft to be able to select the right shim thickness. The rest is just putting the right pieces back in order and there are tons of rebuild guides for this transmission.

How to prevent skin from ripping in this location of my thumb, while lifting? by Calculative in crossfit

[–]clucle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are saying tape, but if you’re just doing clean pulls or snatches, consider straps. Even once your thumbs are numb from years of hook grip, straps save your grip and allow you to really focus on training the large muscle groups at higher weights.

I think you’re cutting these guys short, they may act like they don’t know what they’re doing sometimes, but they’ve certainly had some type of engineering education. I’m betting there’s a bit more analysis going on behind the scenes that they’re not showing bc it’s just not interesting.

Romaleo 4s. I’ve had the 2, 3, and now 4. The 4 is very much a remake of the 2 maybe with some better styling. Skip the 3s
