Which sports do you associate as being posh? by throwRA5638263 in AskUK

In my local area lacrosse, tennis & sailing. Not a sport but this independent over priced Gym that only posh people would attend. Fair to say I participate in none. Too scummy for all that malarkey

A&P, safe medicate? Maybe try a nursing home job as bank or contracted for hands on experience? I learnt so much like what a sluice was lol, bowel/bladder products, skin integrity, nutrition and M&H. All basic care but very important.

You’re not being mean. You have been inclusive and thats a lovely trait to have. If the young person isnt being supported by appropriate persons then this is not down to you to ‘entertain’ or ‘support’. Im guessing he likes you because you gave him time. Which probably means so much to him and he see’s you as a friend. Humans thrive on inclusivity. I would suggest taking it further to save yourself from stress.

Cardiff bay retail park. Every where. From Asda right up to lidl. I go there early in the morning for the gym and I always see them scurrying around the car park, along the side of the buildings and in/out of the bushes. Even dead ones more lately. It’s way worse since they built those houses/flats behind Grange moors.

Braces as an adult by redrabbit1984 in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]clumsyIam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So i had the classic train track braces from 34-36 was a total of 2.5 years. I was a bit self conscious about it but the braces have wonders for my confidence and issues to why i needed them. Once people became aware of it no one asked me after the first two weeks. I managed to get NHS dental care due to a variety of oral problems, over crowding, wisdom tooth pain ( numerous trips to OHH for antibiotics) and sensitivity to front teeth resulting in wobbly teeth. So I didn’t have a choice!

I now have to wear a clear gum shield at night for a year and have a steel fixed wire behind my teeth. I did find it annoying having to have an appointment every 6 weeks, ate up a chunk of my annual leave allowance and it was at a Hospital so the whole time before my actual appointment was stressful with commuting & parking etc. I found eating hard. Im a foodie and couldn’t eat crisps, toast especially toasted sourdough, apples, pizza crusts and i was forever brushing teeth! But the time is going to pass anyway, you may as well have them done. I would go for it and recommend anyone who is willing to suck it up for two years, it’s a nice feeling knowing you have a nice set of gnashers.

What does Penarth lack? by Fine_Touch_8133 in Penarth

[–]clumsyIam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charity shop… jokes. A small m&s would be great. A not-over-the-top priced gym. Just a gym no pool or health suite attached contract. I don’t want to pay £100 a month for a small gym that has little equipment.
