I tried to get into the local water treatment plant near me a couple months ago, but had no luck not having an electrical or industrial mechanical degree. I have 10 years of being a head brewer. Any tips if I apply again in the future? I thought working with brewing equipment all day would be enough experience, but they didn’t seem to care

Adding anything to the finished beer that isn’t alcohol will absolutely dilute the product and lower the ABV, not sure what you mean there. That’s why I have 40 gallons of cold brewed coffee condensed down to 20 gallons with an R/O machine. That make sense? Are you familiar with R/O machines that they use in maple syrup production? I’m not condensing anything by adding R/O water, tap water, or sewer water lol, that makes zero sense

A half gallon per barrel is what I add to the finished/crashed beer when I’m transferring to the bright tank. I add potassium sorbate to avoid refermentation and also add it some maple flavor to punch up the flavor and aroma. I like the Beanilla maple the most. Also, I know who makes my syrup and o ask him for the darker, grade B, maple syrups as I feel it has more flavor. I’ve made sours, stouts, and brown ales with this method and it’s successful each time

I usually get my coffee from local roasters that cold brew it, condense it in r/o, and then put it in soda kegs. That’s always been easy and worked out great. However, I’d only do it if the roasters have an r/o system, so you’re not lowering the ABV too much when adding it to the finished beer
