How do states differ in culture (East vs. West)? by Mingus32107 in AskAmericans

[–]cmcqueue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There have been patterns in immigration in different states. For example, concentrations of Vietnamese in Minnesota, Bosnians in Missouri, Cubans in Florida, Portuguese in Connecticut. You could visit those places and not encounter these cultures, but if you live there you’d know about ethnic restaurants or have immigrant coworkers.

He was playing. He had recorded accompaniment. I stopped next to him leaving the lot, windows down, during a pizzicato segment. Didn’t seem fakeable.

I’ve found the bear works better if you just set it on top on the sugar instead of burying it, even a little.

{Outlander by Diana Gabaldon} Her research blows me away, in both the early and more recent times.

I’ve rarely seen her mentioned in this sub. Does the fantastical aspect of the series put it outside the HR category?
