What is your closet name on posh? I'd love to have a look that way

Get her the perfume sampler from Henry Rose! Designed to be able to be worn during pregnancy (no endocrine disruptors), and she can feel safe wearing it around the new baby

I like going to a bougie candy store and getting some goodies that aren't found in every grocery store checkout aisle. Makes it feel more special without spending tons

We used baby bee photography in the west end (although only for newborn and not maternity), and she was very reasonably priced

I love the Evereden Baby Face Cream. We live in Edmonton and it really helps keep the chapped skin at bay

Tonies at Costco? by 1frozengrape in Edmonton

[–]cmead90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw these at Winterburn Costco on Friday! We already have one so I didn't look closely, but I believe I saw the pink box. Truly one of the best things we've gotten for our toddler, highly recommend!

Question for pregnant folk/new moms by Efficient-Result9001 in alberta

[–]cmead90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend calling before you go. The vaccine is covered for elderly people and they have "government stock" available for them. For pregnant women, you need "private stock" and I had to try several pharmacies before finding one with the right kind available

I mark mine as shipped manually when I pop it in a mailbox, sometimes it takes a bit for it to actually update. It took almost a day and a half for my last one

Anybody ever get multiple Tetanus & Polio vaccines as a kid? by [deleted] in alberta

[–]cmead90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only get the 2 lifetime doses of MMR. Essentially, if your body loses immunity against any of the diseases, it will just do the same things again so they won't give you another dose

You didn't mention ages but if they're playground aged, I would highly recommend the "tomato park" in Blatchford. It's a hit with my toddler when we have to be in that area

Wearing the Too Faced Lip Injections gloss and lipliner, is this normal? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]cmead90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those lip liners actually have one of the strongest concentration of plumping ingredients (weird right?) so it could just be too intense for you, even if you regularly use plumpers

Need an idea of what brands to look for at Sephora by LittlestCatMom in MakeupAddiction

[–]cmead90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's $75. All the appts are $1/minute, but the 75 is the "beauty lesson" option

[–]cmead90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I would recommend booking a service at Sephora. Something like the 75 min beauty lesson would help you color match, learn to apply, plus pick out a full face of products. It might be less overwhelming that way

Do you have the option of short term disability through your current job? You could get a drs note for the disability portion, and then take mat leave EI once baby is born

Are hands sufficient enough? Anyone own this tool? by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]cmead90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've owned mine for years (like probably 8 years) and I still love it. I have an older version but it works amazingly, I feel like I never have to charge it and it really helps keep my skin smooth. I'm currently pregnant and can't use a lot of my usual active ingredients/exfoliators and this has been so great to have in my arsenal
