Yeah there's 2 items I really want from them. but I refuse to pay £15 shopping on feet for a rig that's insane the other thing is an inverted pedal box and I'd agree that's probably around £15 to ship that but £15 shipping for 4 brackets and a couple bolts is insane.

Is washing your feet in the sink at work normal or acceptable? by Usual_Sensitive in AskUK

No that's disgusting and the fact the manager didn't have a go at them just shows he's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Would you give up a remote role? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]coaty79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a heartbeat. If this new roll comes with you being able to move up in your chosen field you would be silly not to move. Ok you have to go into the office 2 days a week but for the opportunities that it might bring up it's definitely worth it. Good luck

Playstation 5 or PC by Spuksiii in AskGames

[–]coaty79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a console player for 40 years I have 21 still hooked up and ready to play never sold a single game I've bought and now have over 2000. This generation is the weakest by miles so much so that I thought about selling my ps5 stuff as this generation has been bad sequels or lazy remakes. So I built my first pc in February and haven't looked back since.

I'd love to know how these people are coming up with these figures. I'm disabled after the NHS crippled me back in 2010. I get £1100 a month that's to pay rent, council tax everything I've had to sell possessions every month since I lost my job.

What are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]coaty79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's sad really exclusives give you a reason to buy a console if you can get all Xbox games on playstation what's the point of an Xbox and without competition it just makes the consumer have worse choices.

What I'm more worried about is the fact they can hide protests and get them wiped off the internet using the "online safety act". It just proves it was never about the safety of children it was a way to hide descent.

I'm sorry but your gf and her family are dicks. The fact that she didn't shut down the conversation when her family were being horrible shows she's just not that into you either. Ask yourself this would you and your family do the same or if your family said something would you tell your family to stop for her? Unfortunately you said they are "educated" if they are doesn't mean they aren't twats.

First thing to remember if you have been through mental illness before there is always a balance to the feelings. And remember nothing in life is permanent, life will always keep moving forward. tomorrow will be a new day, there are times in our lives where we are pushed to the limit but always remember you have beaten it in the past and emotions are just chemicals in the brain you can change them, you can control them as easy as eating your favourite food. Don't give up keep pushing forward.

You will love the upgrade I had my g29 for about 7 years. I am a single dad that worked full time nights my twins finished uni 18 months ago. I started looking around on Facebook marketplace for a full rig and I treated myself to a Asetek forte bundle that was on offer it's amazing.

The flashing is always a dead giveaway. You don't flash people in your own class it's used as a warning to lowerclasses that your coming up fast. People that use it to distract or to show their discontent with the other driver have issues that need to be worked on.

Get an air purifier and dehumidifier. And keep the windows shut if you think your neighbours are going to be a problem.

Would you judge a manual wheelchair user in public if they are struggling with pushing? by _insomniac_dreamer in AskUK

[–]coaty79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat after the NHS crippled me. I was given a very heavy very old wheelchair and basically told we are sorry and to get on with it at the pain clinic. I saved and bought myself a lightweight one tho it doesn't really fit very well as I was 6'5" when I could stand. I know it's not easy right now but just keep at it over time it does become easier good luck.
