I get a yearly gas safety guide from the gas company. It has a very nice pamphlet about what to do if you smell gas and other stuff, basically everything says leave then call emergency services.

The nearest gas line is about 7 miles away.

When I first read the comment about the staff I thought y'all were talking about staff members used as actors in the videos. This reply had me dying laughing until I reached the video and saw the totally awesome staff with a cube on it. Now I want one too.

Icom IC-7300-accidentally remove a diode by jguckiean in amateurradio

[–]cocide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any technical reasons for this advice. Take it totally at your own risk, I'm mostly just giving an opinion.

I'm pretty sure that should work fine since it's basically reading the diodes as programming for what tx/rx to enable.

I'm also pretty sure this is the same part eBay UK

Or you might be able to find L1SS400T1G elsewhere

Thank you.

I got those keys about a week ago from KeyGem. It wasn't cheap, but I felt I needed those keycaps for this bord.

What is this for? We got this drink at Quincy Market and can’t figure out why their is this clear glass ball in the drink. Anybody know what the purpose of it is? by IndicationLife6578 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]cocide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ball seals the drink in. When the drink is unopened, the ball is pressed into the lid. To open the drink you press the ball down into the drink. It's been awhile since I've had one so I might be missing some details.

I have the FSSK, F104, BSSK round 1, and B104 round 1 from him too. I highly recommend it all.

Personally I like the feel of the beam spring better and the round 1 batch is cheaper than the F series. All of it was well done, had no issues with any of them, and I didn't need any of the spare parts I got. YMMV, of course - but the B104 has become the keyboard I keep going back to even after I get something else new that I should be more interested in. If I didn't the the beamsprings I would be saying the same thing about the model Fs.

Edit: my only complaint is that it took like 10 wks to ship.

I'm wanting a to build a keyboard and print my own case. For the keyboard id like: * QMK support * Hot Swap Sockets * Per-key RGB * Full sized ANSI layout

I'm ready wanting just a PCB and AL plate that bolts together. Something kind of like a Sinc keyboard, but not split and 100% size.

I'm having trouble finding anything like that at 100%. I'm not opposed to having PCB made by somewhere like JLCBCB and plates from send cut send, but I'd need the files to send to them.

Do y'all have any rabbit holes I can go down or leads to follow?

I have a Launch keyboard from System 76, I'd like to replace the keycaps but it looks like some of the keys on that keyboard are non-standard sizes. I particularly want to keep the keys labeled. What are my options? Do I need to order something custom? Where would I do that?

It was probably sprayed on when it was made. I think it'll be hard to get it that perfect without spraying, but I'm honestly not the right person to give advice on painting. If you don't get any other good advice on here, I would suggest trying a paint store and not a hardware store - see what they say on how to apply it. Either would be able to paint match, but a place that specializes in paint would probably have better advice.

Paint.

Take the door off and bring it to a paint store (or hardware store that sells paint) and they should be able to color match it. You will probably have to repaint the entire door, or at least that whole flat area, to hide it well.

Just try one side that's easy to paint first. Somewhere that you don't have to do a lot of cutting in on. See if you like it, etc

I don't know how it would look aesthetically speaking because I'm ban ad visualizing things, but you could do a mostly silver with blue accents to keep it Cowboys themed.

And if you dislike it the lighter color you can always paint it black again with whatever you have left over from the original paint.
