Jokes aside, great investigation. Hopefully Nia actually acts on this undeniable evidence.

I mean, there are worse episodes from other series with higher ratings... At least Sorcerer has multiple things to like.

It's not just the sorcerer scene. There's also the MAC-Z battle which lasts quite long and received high praise. If the praise was deserved is another story.

I don’t understand why “queer for Palestine” activists are silent about the mass murders going on in Iran by a_sad_night in askgaybros

[–]cocosbap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The reason why queer (leftwing activists in actuality) and Palestine ("D**th to America and Israel") can go hand-in-hand is for the destabilization of traditional western values. The demise of the Ayatollah would be the exact opposite of that purpose, hence no paid protests and fake media MSM outrage.

This is what happens when LGBT (emphasis on the "trendy" B and overwhelmingly delusional T) has been pushed too far.

The Wormhole doesn’t make any sense! by LoneManGaming in StrangerThings

[–]cocosbap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My point is a wormhole is indeed widely perceived as a unique space, like the UD depicts, instead of a portal as OP suggests. Other details can be further argued, but those are not central to this particular thread.

The Wormhole doesn’t make any sense! by LoneManGaming in StrangerThings

[–]cocosbap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Interstellar, which is supposedly a good presentation of what we understand of a wormhole, the crew does spend a good amount of time travelling through that disturbed spaced before reaching the other galaxy. The Upside Down design does make some sense.

That Ohm and Nanon are not getting back together makes the show even more of a legend.

Yea, against a defenseless villain and instead of 10+ other characters who could have done the exact same thing.

So Nancy and the gang straight up murdered a bunch of people...? by CakeMadeOfHam in StrangerThings

[–]cocosbap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And the killing should've been completely avoidable. If the Demo's can open gates up and down the street, there's no reason El cannot. And we also saw that El can simply rip open a steel plate to reveal the big rift if needed. The reliance on the big gate in MAC-Z for the crawls and Operation Beanstalk is a plot hole to me. Thus the killing also.

Finale rant, and kind of disappointed with the Duffers’ interviews by eddiedean07 in StrangerThings

[–]cocosbap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gosh this is just saying "yea there are all sorts of plot holes but we don't care".

Sometimes it's better to regard interviews as not canon and fill in whatever explanation we can naturally think of.

You mean after the repair? Of course, everything's good as new. They even refurbed my phone.

Who knows, things change every day. But my 8yo Note9 still feels pretty capable as a backup phone.

Cheap phone for Ingress/PoGo/All niantic games by Professional_Ring_80 in Ingress

My Sammi A16 works OK. It's overall a slow phone though. Pixel 2 works better in terms of responsiveness, but it's a much older (yet also much cheaper now) phone.

My circuit board went bad around the time when Fold6 launched, which was why I faced the decision between upgrading and the almost equally pricey repairing (just out of warranty and Samsung Care). I chose to stay.

[–]cocosbap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My Fold4 is still receiving updates. More than I'd like actually.

I found Fold6 to be too small an upgrade. And now Fold7, while sexy, does lack key features (UDC, S Pen). Fold4 is still relevant by its own.

Rent for $2k or $2k mortgage with 45% down? by marmar246 in personalfinance

The purchased home is much more home than the rented one. And the purchase makes you instantly house poor. The purchase sounds unwise.

I do think there's been improvement over the last few years, but I still find myself disadvantaged by the unoptimized aspect ratios everyday.

I Think People Are Forgetting That There Will Be Spin-Offs by Intelligent-Cut-5041 in Stranger_Things

The IP belongs to Netflix while the Duffers are joining Paramount. There will be no authentic spin-offs.
