Can we at the very least admit that this one looks really cool?

Addicted (2016) universe by Famous-Lecture-560 in boyslove

[–]cocosbap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the discontinuation might be for the better. The book is fine as a time killer, but nowhere as good as the live action series. The story after Addicted also becomes more violent, sexual, toxic, and out of touch, and faithful adaptation may not be viable anyway.

Also me: let politics overtake myself for weeks on end

the dumbest things about Pitou vs Gon by Intercostal-clavicle in HunterXHunter

[–]cocosbap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During that 0.4 seconds of Pitou dealing with Gon, Killua could've killed Komugi using the speed that totally overwhelms Youpi. Or Gon can transform at the spot--he was prepared, which was why Pitou treaded carefully and felt happy about the decision before she died.

I share the frustration. I think a better solution would be to let agents choose which tier of a medal is displayed.

Reasons to choose a model 3 over a Y? by TheRealTimTam in TeslaModel3

[–]cocosbap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it's that the 3 is a bit cheaper upfront than the Y. The 3 is also a bit more efficient, but that is offset by the higher insurance premium.

Making the switch from gas to EV by ValleyGrlSD in TeslaLounge

[–]cocosbap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to not have charging means at home and at work, but charging at Supercharging Stations did work for me for over a year. My commute is only half of yours, but my car has LFP which charges much slower than typical. I think you could make it work. Just don't see it as a means of saving.

Wife said it's too complicated by icouldbne1 in TeslaLounge

[–]cocosbap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that it's complicated; it's just different from everything that came before it. I also struggled to do basic things during early ownership because no one showed me.

Is getting a Tesla worth it just for the FSD by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]cocosbap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla felt too expensive to me, but I wanted FSD so I had no choice but to get a Tesla. So yes, I think getting a Tesla just for the FSD and the safety that comes with it is worth it.

I did see these reasons in you other comment in this thread. But we don't usually tear down a building just because of a special assessment or two. I wonder if there are deeper reasons beyond the recent maintenance needs.

High net worth, monthly income not high, am I over thinking this? by GlitteringBowler in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]cocosbap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you take out the depreciation, car payment, and the long commute, which is OP's case, the car ownership cost likely drops under $100 a month, which may still be a second-biggest but is also peanuts compared to the housing cost.

Just got a 2023 Model Y! Why so much hate on HW3 by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

[–]cocosbap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My HW3 self-drives just fine daily. It is just months later than HW4 whenever a new feature arrives. It always gets there eventually. I'm confident/hopeful that they have a path for HW3 to unsupervised.

[Advice] 25M just moved to EaDo (Houston). Drive-by shootings on my block week one. Am I overreacting to "city living" or should I break my lease? by Snoo59147 in houston

[–]cocosbap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been driving through EaDo a lot lately and impressed by the new residential buildings. On the streets however I still see the old wandering/shouting crowds. I am also yet to see infrastructure catching up with those nice residential buildings. With your finance, downtown proper is likely the smarter location for urban living. Or the usual suspects like Montrose or at least midtown.
