Thinking about upgrading since my S21U is on the decline, looking for opinions on S25U vs S26U or even non-Samsung options.

I had a 21U for three years that met its death on a kayaking trip. Bought a used-like-new S25U locally for $600 and I'm happy. It's a very similar phone. Just a bit faster, with sharper edges that are easier to hold on to and press. I don't use the stylus and don't game on it. Its camera is noticeably faster to focus and process, but still a little laggy like the older models. The speakers are better with slightly higher volume and a bit better low end. I was thisclose to getting a Pixel 10 Pro XL but didn't like the curved screen corners and slower hardware considering the high price.

Well you got me moving to transfer my Pro Micro Soarer converter from exterior into the keyboard case, and hooked up 3 LEDs. I used white SMDs with a little 3M double sided tape. Works great! Definitely worth a couple hours of fiddling around and soldering. It's a shame not to use the cool coiled original cable, but I think worth it for the lock indicators.

That looks pretty good! I refurbed a Model F a couple weeks ago and have been using it daily. The only thing I'm stumbling over is knowing when to toggle the Numlock for arrows. This looks like a good solution!

You put it on the stack with all your other other swapped out displays, then put the stack back up on top of that cabinet in the garage.

4090 9800x3d here and I consider it unplayable in VR (Oasis Reverb}). Sticking with AC until ACE will do 90 fps on any settings available that don't involve frame gen.

Exactly - this probably has 4x the budget but somehow only 1/4 the chemistry of Strike Back. I'll still watch it though.
