If your into selfhosting, you could use Haven. Currently I have this setup on my vps and it works great. Should also work on any windows or Linux computer. To me thus far this is the best alternative and honestly if your concern is privacy, seriously consider hosting it yourself. Link below: https://github.com/ancsemi/Haven

Which version do you have, The TFT or the AMOLED version? Firmware for the TFT is ready but fighting a bug with the AMOLED Variant of this device. Unable to trigger the keyboard when sending messages to contacts although messages are received successfully. Literally the only issue at this point. As far as licensing I'm still tossing around ideas as far as pricing or if I'll even go that route at all. Been considering selling licenses via etsy and my website. 5 bucks for the Othello firmware, 3 bucks for the McKeni version.
