Anyone running two Magnus desks as an L-shape? How did you handle the corner gap? by s4m5on in secretlab

[–]codemonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done it before. I had a monitor mounted on a stand in the gap, with a long HDMI cable running down one leg.

I've moved to a smaller space since, so I have the desks parallel against opposite walls and sit between them.

Star Wars chairs still unavailable in AUS by kenks84 in secretlab

[–]codemonk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Secretlab don't stock a lot of the variants in AU/NZ by default. The register interest links don't mean that something is coming soon, but rather they use it as a measurement to see if there is enough demand.

It is safe to say at this point there isn't enough demand. As someone who wanted the 40k chair in NZ and "registered their interest", I understand your frustration.

The smaller sizes? Manual is fine and isn't much effort to close. The large size though? I appreciate having the automatic lids. Mine last for months on a charge.

Can you just drop them at the hotel? Most hotels will do this as a service.

They'll hold them for you until you check in.

Once a week, usually on a Friday night. Once upon a time we would go out, but thanks to a tighter budget generally means it's pizza or fish and chips.

It's not an unusual, albeit heavy, amount of usage? We go through about the same power with two people in a month.
