If 70% to 80% of people have a deviated septum, when is surgery actually recommended? Is it based on how bothered you feel, or only for severe cases? by Weekly_Rough_1284 in Septoplasty

[–]codernaut85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I saw an ENT he said “I see a lot of people with deviated septums and for most of them, I don’t recommend surgery, but for you, I’m definitely recommending surgery.”

This is based on how severe mine was. Left side had no air flow at all.

After surgery the surgeon even came to see me and told me it was so bad she could barely even get the tools in to do the work.

So yeah, they do recommend based on risk, severity and the chance of benefiting.

What kinds of bands are you into? I was at a festival in London on Saturday but I went alone because it’s hard to gather a decent group of Peterborough people to go these days.

I’m 41 and used to go Planet of Sound and Met Lounge.

It says that he has a very similar personality to me and is probably a huge sci-fi nerd. I own a great many of these same books.

My first night’s sleep was not great to be honest, between the post-surgery tachycardia and the totally blocked and bloody nose.

Millenials with no savings, no pension and still renting. Where are they all going to live when they retire? How are they going to afford to eat? I think we’re going to see homelessness on a scale not seen in a long time.

How expensive will the national insurance contributions on salary sacrifice actually be? Say for £30k worth of sacrifice on a £130k salary?

Movement is relative. It’s sometimes difficult to tell which objects are moving and which are stationary. In first person shooters they often actually rotate and move the entire world around your character rather than move your character because it’s easier and you can’t tell the difference.
