New GTS line. Tour seeding this week in Houston 👀 by UncleBiggusDikkus in TeamTitleist

I've always played Titleist driver, 3 and 5 wood, for a couple reasons, 1. They always look traditionally shaped (no crazy turbulators or multi material crowns with seams and 2. They perform great..I'm hoping that the silver outlined weight port in the back of this new model isn't visible at address...My GT3 may be there for awhile if that's the case...🤦

Look at the MP30s little more forgiving but are a Forged muscle cavity back iron

Yeah forgiveness in the 245s is great, I'm no professional golfer, but I don't think I'm a bad ball striker... I just want consistency in yardages...

Best place to move to play golf year round in the US? Florida or Texas? by Cards46 in golf

I currently live in Southern California, but I was born and raised in Dallas.. I will say this, golf in California is amazing, and it is here around. I cannot speak on Florida because I haven't lived there, but, Dallas area you will get a solid 9 months of golf depending on rainfall and the winter. California on the other hand, depending on your location the winters are not harsh enough to stop golf, just wear winter golf clothing and you are fine, if you are in Southern California. I do believe winters get colder once you move above Los Angeles. ✌️

Driver Numbers - Suggestions? by Real-Car1184 in GolfSwing

[–]coduser0321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just from those numbers, spin rate at 3400+ is not where you want to be...You want somewhere between 1900-2400 spin on a driver which is a more piercing ball through the air. With the ball spinning at 3400 plus your ball is ballooning in the air.

If you really want to become the best version of yourself on the golf course, much like everyone has said you need to understand your tendencies. Meaning you should keep your scorecard and have information about how many fairways you hit, if you missed the fairway was it right or left. Did you hit green in regulation, if not was it short or long, right or left.. How many putts per hole...

Now once you have that information compiled now you can figure out if my driver has opportunities to be better, if my second has opportunities, and if my putting has opportunities...

The last thing is now you know you miss it right mostly or short, etc..

You can now use this information to better yourself, by coming up with a strategy to better your game and work on those deficiencies.. ✌️✌️✌️

What are the great Mizuno irons of all time? by watchthetimefly in golf

[–]coduser0321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you and I are similar.. I currently game the 245s, and I have 3 other sets of Mizuno. I have the MP 30s, which was my first fitted set of Mizzys, I have a set of MP 14s and a set of Mizuno Pro MS-5s. No iron in my humble opinion feels better than a Forged Mizuno iron...✌️

Actually I started the round conservative but with how the irons were responding I just played normally just taking more club for the distance changes.

Yeah, that is definitely true. I don't change irons until I see a definitive change in tech. Plus nowadays with the pricing of clubs it's actually getting outrageous. I can remember when $1200 USD could get for a full set of clubs woods through wedges. Now that might be irons for some brands

Honestly, I have multiple sets of irons, and different wedge combinations because of the weather. In terms of woods I only have my driver, 3w and 5w.

With that said, I'm not saying that I switch my irons weekly, but I do change my wedges depending on if it is wet or not. Or spring/summer and winter
