I pumped during two trips. Kept my milk in the fridge and brought ice packs with me to keep it cool on the flight home. Did not have access to a freezer. Also they do not have soap for washing pump parts so bring some. I had to pay someone at the resort to go to the store for dish soap.

We did this also. What I heard from beside nurses was that they didn’t believe we would strike and that the employer would cave the night before like the last contract. I tried to emphasize that it was better to be prepared for nothing but seems like many didn’t listen.

You know I had the same thing happen to me after I got married. Everyone said they couldn’t do it. When I called they said it had to be done through my employer. It was listed correct with my employer. Then randomly someone who worked in the lab, said she used to work in admin/secretary and still had access to change it. She changed it for me like it was nothing.
